Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Purchasing Agent. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible to work and negotiate with suppliers to purchase goods and services for the company. In this position you will be locating suppliers, researching goods, services and materials and processing purchasing orders. This is the Purchasing Agent position for you if you are a highly analytical and deadline oriented professional Key responsibilities Own relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts Suggest cost proposals and negotiate contracts and prices Prepare and process purchase orders Maintain records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers Research suppliers, goods, and services, and compare options Determine purchase needs and monitor inventory levels Prepare and submit detailed reports (revenues, buying expenditures, etc.) Requirements - Must have professional customer service skills while working with vendors and suppliers Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required 1 year working in a professional setting High school diploma or equivalent If you have previous experience in this type of position and are available to start immediately, we want to hear from you today .
