This position is responsible for originating both Reverse and Traditional Mortgage loans. A Loan Officer is responsible for contacting every prospective customer in a timely manner, ensuring they understand what each client is hoping to accomplish, and thoroughly explaining the available Reverse and/or Traditional mortgage products that will best fit the client needs. This position is responsible for the various tasks involved in the origination process and conducting themselves at all times with the highest level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.Responsibilities:Role-Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow company processes in originating leads, completing loan applications, and helping customers move through the loan process based on company and self-generated leads
  • Build both customer and business partner relationships within various local markets
  • Maintain a professional relationship with all customers, co-workers, business partners, and third-party vendors
  • Meet clients face to face and help each individual client find the best solution that fits their needs in accordance to company standards, policies, procedures, and set guidelines
  • Meet with Market or Area Sales Manager on a routine basis (daily, weekly, monthly) to review and collaborate on loan transactions and structuring, pipeline, goals, and individual performanceWorking Environment:
    • Work is performed in a remote home office environment and occasionally in client's homes
    • Remote transportation required to meet clients and business partners face to face
    • Remote employee is required to have internet and WIFI capabilitiesQualifications:Qualifications and Requirements:
      • 1 - 3 year's work experience in Mortgage Industry or related field
      • Some college preferred
      • Previous licensing or extended education (Realty, Insurance, etc.)
      • NMLS a plus
      • Strong ability to educate, qualify and gain customers commitment
      • Successful track record in relationship building sales
      • Strong knowledge and background in First Mortgage loan originations
      • Ability to review loan terms and understand how to structure and restructure various loan options to present to customers based on their individual needs.
      • Ability to carry out verbal and/or written instructions
      • Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written
      • Detailed-oriented and highly accurate
      • Ability to work in changing environment
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
      • Knowledge of basic computer skills
      • Ability to draft office correspondence
      • Ability to query, run reports and modify data in financial systems
      • Ability to effectively utilize audio/visual equipment
