Job Description:
Job Description Under minimal supervision, this position is
primarily responsible for supporting the Chargeback operations and
application. Including the day-to-day chargeback processing and
chargeback support teams. Must include next level inquiries,
projects and enhancements - business requirements creation and
writing, UAT testing, daily operations and general chargeback
processing resolution. Maintain a professional working relationship
with internal and external customers. What You'll Do: Reference the
E360 system in order to support the business (i.e. documentation /
escalations / testing). Ability to understand daily Chargeback
Operational Tasks as defined. Ability to interact with other
departments, clients and external vendors deliver solutions,
requirements and deliver business solutions. Act as interface
between business units, technology teams and support teams.
Understand / create business and technical requirements as defined
by business / industry / security etc.) Ability to respond to
Chargebacks, Retrievals and Exception cases utilizing MasterCom ,
VROL, Discover portal and E360 for American Express. Train new
employees and/or existing employees on support functions.
Understand and manage the 1st chargebacks, reversals and Pre
Arbitration cases for Visa, MasterCard. Discover and American
Express. Escalation as needed in support for research, pull
applicable documentation, and properly index all cases identified
on daily Truncated Draft Report. Reference E360 system to pull
authorization logs to complete truncation reports (last 4 digits of
account number). Utilize Outlook and in-house voicemail system in
order to communicate effectively with incoming emails and
voicemails and to review incoming Chargeback Reports as needed.
Lead (subject matter expert) in any/all training and educational
activities. Check card scheme API call failure reports daily.
Support as needed from business the work unmatched transaction
cases by researching transaction data elements and include to
properly register cases. Resolve issues with schemes systems and
interfaces timely. Review all Scheme updates and draft business
requirements. Interface directly with chargeback system development
team, including ad-hoc issue resolution Work with Chargebacks
business teams to assist with processing cases through the
chargebacks system Practice and comply with all regulations
promoting a safe and healthy work environment (i.e. OSHA). Adhere
to privacy; confidential, proprietary company policies and
procedures (i.e. HIPAA) About You: High School or equivalent
experience and a minimum of 3 years of business experience,
preferably in the credit card Industry or other service related
industry. Associates degree a plus. Knowledge of MasterCard, Visa,
Discover and American Express, PIN Debit, Petroleum, (aka Schemes)
regulations. Knowledge of Schemes chargeback rules and process
Experience handling dispute or billing inquiries. Attention to
accuracy and detail in processing information. Strong data entry
skills and ability to navigate among multiple systems. Excellent
oral and written communication and reasoning skills. Ability to
maintain confidentiality. Strong follow-through skills and ability
to resolve issues in a timely manner. Ability to work independently
as well as in a team. Demonstrate a polished, professional manner
on the telephone and in emails. Competent in Windows based computer
applications (Microsoft Office). Ability to learn and navigate
amongst multiple systems that are not Microsoft Office based.
Possess proficient oral and written communication skills. Good
problem solving skills and ability to research and resolve issues
in a timely manner. Ability to manage multiple tasks and complete
tasks assigned in a timely and accurate manner. Self-motivated,
