Inc. in Melville, NY is seeking a passionate IT Business Analyst
(Analyst, App Ops & Deploy) to lead us in building, managing and
championing the next generation eCommerce Systems within Canon.
You'll be taking on a high visibility role, working
cross-functionally with multiple Marketing, eCommerce and Support
Teams across the organization, to ensure all Canon Product,
Services and Support Options are easily and accurately consumable
by Customers. Never satisfied - you are constantly looking to

Self-motivated, with excellent verbal and written communication
skills, you understand how software is built and are able to
communicate it to all levels of the organization.This position is
full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in
the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the
remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises
requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work
schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to
time based on business needs. Responsibilities- Responsible for
innovation and end-to-end launch of system improvements-
Collaborates with Business Units and Managed Service Partners to
co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept
to launch in a fast-paced environment- Works with cross-functional
teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user
experience, engineering, and user enablement- Turns data insights
into system improvements with actionable outcomes to the ultimate
customer- Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews
the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and
deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks- Partners with
stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the
product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization- Develops,
owns, and executes product roadmap, collaborating with development
leads and architects- Acts as expert resource and
scope/requirements lead to development teams in all phases of the
development and implementation process- Works with user-focused
departments to define the self-service user experience, support,
and monitoring for customers- Translates system improvement roadmap
features into well-defined product requirements including features,
user stories, and acceptance test criteria- Prioritizes and
maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the
requirements of stakeholders- Leads the product functional design
process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology-
Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that
marketing, product management, and customer support have what they
need to be successful- Has full technical knowledge of all phases
of application/system scope definition and requirement analysis-
Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of
performance post-launch to evaluate future investment- Owns
production support issues including research to eliminate bugs.
Prioritizes bugs within the backlog and crushes high priority bugs
within service level agreement timelines QualificationsPlease note:

contractor/subcontractor.- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or
equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related
experience- Experience and/or background in filling the role of a
Business Analyst or Product Owner in both Scrum and waterfall
methodologies preferred- Competent problem-solving, influencing and
critical-thinking skills with the ability to execute with limited
information and ambiguity- Experience with requirements
elicitation, gathering, and documentation skills, at business,
functional, and technical levels- Technical acumen with the ability
to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa-
Ability to manage customer requirements and scope discussions; as
well as ability to facilitate large groups (in person or over the
phone)- Ability to collect and understand application solutions
from the team and present as options for business challenges-
Ability to speak and communicate with the technical team and the
business team in their own vernacular and translate concepts
between both teams- Must have ability to exercise independent
judgment in planning, organizing, and performing analysis tasks.
Some independent judgment required in setting priorities of tasks
among multiple assigned projects- Working knowledge of JIRA and
Confluence preferred- Minimum of 2 years' experience of eCommerce
Platforms (Magento preferred)The company will not pursue or support
