Analyst, App Ops & Deploy). B2B Sales and Planning Solution
Delivery and Operations team supports the B2B business for the
entire Canon Americas - USA, Canada and Latin America. The
portfolio of applications include e-commerce platforms, sales
forecasting and planning systems, strategic pricing tools, business
process tools, subscription platforms, user management system among
others. This portfolio of applications generates multi-million
dollar revenue and is key to Canon's business. The team is
currently growing and is seeking an experienced business analyst to
help guide our portfolio into the future. From researching
progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impact, our ideal
candidate is a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch
analyst.As part of this team, they would work closely with the
business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's
business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in
which the business operates.The Senior IT Business Analyst (Sr
Analyst, App Ops & Deploy) is responsible for supporting assigned
business processes from end-to-end, to identify and address
operational, financial and technological risks. Identifying
opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include
a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects
to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects
related to operational business functions.This position is full
time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the
office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the
remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises
requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work
schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to
time based on business needs. Responsibilities- Responsible for
innovation and end-to-end launch of system improvements-
Collaborate with Business Units and Managed Service Partners to
co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept
to launch in a fast-paced environment- Work in an Agile environment
and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities,
outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and
risks- Partner with stakeholders and customers across the
organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and
prioritization- Develop, own, and execute product roadmap,
collaborating with development leads and architects- Evaluate and
translate those conceptual customer requirements into functional
requirements (i.e. specifications, process models, diagrams,
charts, mockups, user stories, acceptance criteria etc.) in a clear
manner that is comprehensible to development teams- Prioritize and
maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the
requirement of stakeholders- Lead the product functional design
process based on an intimate knowledge of the users, business and
technology- Manage and track the status of requirements throughout
the lifecycle- Work with architects on the discovery and
development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital
landscape to support more complex requirements- Act as a subject
matter expert and provide guidance to the large project teams-
Triage, analyze, manage and track day-to-day operations with
Managed Services, infrastructure, integration and other teams to
ensure timely resolution- Participate in QA and UAT to ensure
features and functions meet the acceptance criteria- Monitor and
track delivery KPIs and SLAs- Ensure compliance with all security,
regulatory and quality policies and procedures- Guide and coach
junior staff through all phases of development- Liaison and develop
meaningful and lasting relationships with the business user
communities, within the Corporate IT organization, and Managed
Services vendors to optimize support and solutions
QualificationsPlease note: We comply with all applicable federal,

contractor/subcontractor.- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or
equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related
experienceperforming business analysis in IT- Strong
problem-solving, influencing and critical-thinking skills with the
ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity- Strong
requirements elicitation, gathering, and documentation skills, at
business, functional, and technical levels- Technical acumen with
the ability to translate business needs into technical language and
vice versa- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply technical
concepts- Ability to manage customer requirements and scope
discussions; as well as ability to facilitate large groups (in
person or over the phone)- Ability to collect and understand
application solutions from the team and present as options for
business challenges- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written,
and oral communication skills- Must be able to communicate
effectively in both technical and business settings- Strong
communicator (ability to communicate at all levels), skilled at
stakeholder management (setting and managing expectations) and
ability to communicate with all levels of the organization- Adept
at negotiating; able to resolve conflict and adapt to different
approaches using a variety of tactics- Must have ability to
exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and
performing analysis tasks. Some independent judgment required in
setting priorities of tasks among multiple assigned projects-
Working knowledge of project portfolio management tools and
techniques- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence- Working
knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Development framework-
Understanding of programming languages and technology- Team player,
collaborator and experience working with remote resources and staff
in geographically dispersed areas- Retail, manufacturing industry,
B2B commerce experience a plus- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft
Office Products including MS Project, MS Visio a plusThe company
