reading!Why this role is important to usWe are seeking a person to
head up a group responsible for driving our commercial engagement
strategy globally, which represents all of SimCorp's total
addressable market.Within this group you will lead teams with a
goal to drive revenue generation through sales education, thought
leadership, market knowledge, and global partnerships. Ultimately
owning the client facing, revenue generating and market feedback
elements of the global go-to-market efforts.You will be reporting
to the head of the commercial organization; this group covers all
elements of the global support of in-region sales teams, from
marketing, developing commercial strategies, value proposition and
pricing/packaging, operations, forecasting and commercial analytics
and AI. Working closely with local sales and offer management to
drive the strategic direction of our go-to-market effort attracting
new prospects to the SimCorp client base.Key ResponsibilitiesYour
team is responsible for the commercial engagement element of
SimCorp's go-to-market strategy. The teams consist of:
- Commercial Development - this team are industry experts who
help define our value propositions, battlecards, industry analysis,
support training and support our brand/narrative in front of
clients in meetings and conferences.
- Sales Enablement - this team focuses on delivering education &
training, sales collateral and collaboration through sales
events.
- Partnership Programs - these teams design strategies to work
with global asset servicers, consultants and channel partners to
create a robust and seamless program for education and partnership;
there is a revenue element for this team that contributes to the
bottom line of SimCorp.These cohesive teams work closely in
collaboration with sales, product and professional services to
ensure a well-oiled machine for sales - utilizing global best
practice to support regional revenue targets.Your responsibilities
include:
- People Management and being a leader of leaders. We have a
highly engaged group of colleagues and this role will play a
pivotal role enhancing the employee experience and role modelling
leadership excellence.
- Own the commercial engagement element of go-to-market but
contribute to the full picture of global commercial.
- Drive excellence in all commercial practices, including
delivery of key elements of SimCorp One such as pricing and
packaging.
- Alignment of the commercial engagement activities across the
SimCorp organization to ensure that we meet sales targets.
- Understand the key competitors and how we position ourselves
towards each competitor.
- Drive sales enablement to establish a more effective sales
organization.The role is a senior global position, success is
derived by supporting our growth ambitions with existing and new
clients, through all stages of the buyer journey.Your
qualifications
- Experience from a senior leadership role within sales or
commercial strategy.
- Strong experience from the Investment Management industry.
- Experience around the key value drivers, and considerations
around RFI/RFP's within the buy-side technology space.
- Experience from one or more software vendors.
- Strong written, presentation and communication skills.
- Empathic and thrive by working with people, and persuasive with
strong influencing skills.
- Great English communication skills, written as well as spoken,
as English is our corporate language.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 20-30%.Next

this position is 145,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD. Additionally,
