Job Description:
(Physician/MD qualifications required) *Premier Academic
institution in New England, seeks a Board Certified/Eligible
Psychiatrist to provide clinical services to patients on their
Geriatric Inpatient unit.
*Position includes an Academic appointment at the Assistant
Professor level. The amount of teaching can be adjusted to suit
candidate's interests.
*Facility seeks a Geriatric trained Psychiatrist or an Adult
Psychiatrist to cover 10 beds on a 20-bed unit, with duties
including treatment team meetings, creating treatment plans,
discharge summaries, light staff supervision, admissions, and
consults as needed.
*Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM.
*The average length of stay is 14 days. Unit runs at census most of
the time.
*Compensation is competitive and call is 1:9 - and paid extra.
