Seasonal Part-Time Property Caretaker (Southampton, NY) Division: Domestic Hospitality Ref ID: R Location: Southampton, NY 11968 Hourly Rate: $35 per hour Schedule: 20-30 hours per week (Start time: May 2023 End-time: September 2023) Job Summary: A private family seeks an experienced professional Part-Time Property Caretaker to assist with the maintenance of a 3-acre estate and 10,000 sq. ft home for the summer season. The ideal candidate must be outgoing, energetic, and discreet, with experience overseeing large private properties. Must be self-motivated, self-driven, no job is too big or too small, very hands-on, and willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the exterior of the private estate
• Responsible for upkeep, maintenance, and minor repairs
• Assisting with minor lawn care
• Assist with setting up the pool area with chairs, tables, cushions, and umbrellas
• Assist with pool maintenance
• Responsible for mail/packages to the correct destination
• Garbage/Recycle removal and trash-can cleaning
• Caring for and maintaining the exterior and interior of the vehicles to make sure they are ready to be used by the principal
• Running errands and adhering to special requests as needed
• Making sure household inventories are fully stocked and working alongside the housekeeper to manage all inventory
• Must be able to work alongside other staff members Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience with Private Families and Individuals
  • Excellent references from current and previous positions
  • Excellent computer skills required, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet, and e-mail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be OK with working in an environment with both children and pets (no allergies)
  • Handyman/Repair experience is a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid US work authorization
