A/R Follow Up Representative

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  
• Submit Primary/Secondary Insurance and follow-up
  
• Verify accuracy patient insurance and demographic information, coverage, and review any insurance discrepancies
  
• Follow up assigned outstanding accounts, following appropriate policies and procedures
  
• Verify status of outstanding claims
  
• Review Remittance/Explanation of Benefits and determine patient responsibility
  
• Submit Appeals for Denials and Underpayments

  CRITERIA:
  
  
  • 
    
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor or Associates preferred.
    
  • Prior healthcare environment experience
    
  • Familiar with Medicare/Medicaid Governmental Benefits and Regulations, Medical Insurance Coverages
    
  • Strong communication, documentation, and computer skill sets
