Required Qualifications: There are no education or experience
requirements, however, applicants must be able to read, speak and
understand English. Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate
valid NYS Driver's License; have a motor vehicle record which is
free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations.

Brief Description of Duties: Duties to include the
- PARKING VIOLATIONS - Patrols parking areas to identify vehicles
in violation of campus parking rules and regulations. Issue campus
summons, as well as the towing and booting of vehicles in
- MOTORIST ASSISTANCE - Provide assistance to the campus
community, including but not limited to jump starts of disabled
vehicles, slim jims to unlock vehicle doors, air for deflated tires
and transportation to a service station for gasoline.
- SPECIAL EVENTS - Provides traffic and parking control for
campus events. This includes setting up barriers and blocking off
roadways and parking areas.
- Reports all roadway safety problems and signage issues to
Parking Enforcement Supervisor; and maintains records of parking
spaces on campus and periodically conducts parking space counts.
Other duties as assigned.
- Completes necessary paperwork to immobilize and release
vehicles as necessary. Transports individuals from the Parking
Services Office to the impound lot to facilitate the release of
