Job Description:

A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As a part of the team, you'll assist in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for the acquisition of services and capital equipment and goods. We serve as the relationship manager for both internal clients and suppliers by seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, creating, reviewing, and negotiating contractual arrangements through thought leadership, subject matter specialisation, and strategic advising.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:

  • Showcasing data collection and analysis skills and problem-solving skills;
  • Exhibiting knowledge of supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives;
  • Demonstrating procurement knowledge;
  • Highlighting ability to interface and present to internal and external key stakeholders;
  • Managing ability to support supplier diversity and sustainability to client engagement teams working on RFP's, and Procurement staff, per direction of supplier diversity and sustainability Leader;
  • Supporting execution of supplier diversity and sustainability strategies and initiatives;
  • Assisting in meeting supplier diversity and sustainability programs goals, tracking metrics, contractual commitments, presenting and reporting progress;
  • Managing Tier II diverse spend reporting requirements according to established guidelines, in order to meet internal and client's requirements;
  • Acting as a supplier diversity and sustainability resource to the US/Mexico Procurement Organization;
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries about the firm's supplier diversity and sustainability programs and efforts;
  • Assisting with improvement and maintenance of supplier diversity and sustainability content and communication channels (internal and external);
  • Evaluating and meeting with diverse suppliers to access their capability to be utilized by procurement, according to established guidelines;
  • Seeking opportunities to increase the utilization of diverse suppliers in the RFx process;
  • Participating in supplier diversity and sustainability tradeshows, meetings and events;
  • Engaging with external organizations that support supplier diversity and sustainability, and coordinating efforts with internal stakeholders;
  • Recognizing ineffective strategies or processes and recommending alternative approaches or solutions to capitalize on change; and,
  • Effectively managing multiple activities/events and prioritizing.
