Ameresco is fueled by a dynamic team (that embraces diversity, career development opportunities, and -- most importantly employees driven by doing well by doing good.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist Project Manager with communications and coordination with Ameresco customers and subcontractors in the design and construction phases by ensuring project status updates, coordination vendor and subcontractor site access and remedies for delays or other concerns; Determine customers technical requirements, identify and evaluate opportunities for energy efficiency; Manage, coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality control and that projects installed per design documents, are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding the customers expectations; Evaluate technologies and equipment and recommend most suitable for each application; Gather key project details such as utility data, facility profiles, site drawings, and system operating data;Provide all necessary support, reports, and documentation required by Management for project, including technical and other support to sales, engineering and operating functions as needed; Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Project Team to prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material; Prepare technical content, proposals, analysis, feasibility reports, provide critical peer review;Manage record keeping for project to include, daily log, schedule updates, customer interface; Review, and manage all expenditures for assigned project including ensuring all invoices approved for payment are within budget established in project report and have appropriate purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation; Visit project sites to assess and document building, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing systems;Investigate, analyze, and document energy conservation and water cost reduction measures.;Conduct detailed engineering analysis including baseline profiles, end-use analysis, retro-fit analysis;Foster effective customer, subcontractor and vendor relationships at multiple levels and project phases; Attend weekly construction meetings at jobsite as well as attend project review meetings; and Perform other duties as required. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications:Working towards a Bachelors Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or facility management / energy management fields. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to large scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retro-fits involving institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites. Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project. Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships. Valid Drivers License issued by state of residence and in good standing. Travel required.
