US-NY-Melville Canon U.S.A., Inc.Requisition ID: 28647Category: Audit/CompliancePosition Type: Full-TimeOverviewThe CUSA Audit and Business Consultation department is looking for a Senior Information Technology Auditor (Sr Auditor, Internal) who possesses specialized knowledge/ skills in the information technology audit space. The candidate is preferably from the Big 4.This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Responsibilities- Responsible for leading the most complex activities associated with auditing- Participates in planning and conducting Information Technology and operational audits, as well as leading/coaching other auditors- Prepares audit work papers for assignments to be certain that adequate documentation has been gathered to evidence completion of the audit and that such work papers form an adequate basis for reporting results of that audit to management- Assists external auditors to provide a cost savings for performance of the annual financial statement audit review and to provide assurance that financial statements comply with corporate policy- Analyzes operational functions to identify risk factors in order that audit procedures can be developed to review such risk areas- Recommends potential areas for future audit efforts and assists the rest of the internal audit team- Supervises the work of other auditors to ensure that audits are performed in accordance with the approved Audit Program- Assist in developing the Audit Program- Attends the audit exit meeting for report draft discussion of findings with management to inform them of exceptions that were found and recommend for corrective action- Researches, plans and evaluates the effectiveness of processes, systems, procedures or methodologies through review and evaluation of detailed data- A fully qualified, seasoned professional with a full understanding of the job role who works on more complicated issues facing the department including SOX IT- Receives general instruction from the team on new assignments but little to no direction in day-to-day work- Typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager, and may mentor or supervise one or two less experienced professional staff QualificationsPlease note: We comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, orders and mandates, including those we may be required to follow as a federal government contractor/subcontractor.- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Information Systems; or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience- Experience with developing/performing risk assessments, connecting risks to business objectives, developing/carrying out robust test plans and collecting information in well-documented work papers- Moderate experience with performing, documenting and evaluating effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting in according with SOX requirements as well as Cyber Security- Familiarity with various frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, etc.- Demonstrates a strong understanding of current technology risks and internal control environment. Development of practical recommendations to mitigate those risks- Strong experience auditing general computing controls (ITGCs), including security/access, change control, systems development, and technology operations- Strong experience with change and transition management practices and techniques- Excellent partnership, communication and collaboration skills- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences both in written and verbal communications- CPA, CIA or CISA recommendedThe company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.
