Job Description SUMMARY: Korg USA is looking for a qualified Help Desk Support/Jr. Systems Administrator to join our team This position will be the primary point of contact for all end-user IT support issues. They will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all user laptops, desktops tablets and phones, as well as the AV equipment in common areas throughout the building. They will also support the IT Manager in network and server administration. This individual should be extremely task oriented, a self-starter, a resourceful producer with a can-do attitude. customer focused individual who thrives on being highly responsive and collaborative. This individual should be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the job is done properly. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: IT Help Desk Support Provide PC and laptop hardware support, including installations, relocations, and upgrades Provide necessary desktop application support and deployment including but not limited to Office 365 applications Resolving help-desk calls using ZenDesk Document technical issues and escalate to other IT Staff as necessary Systems Administration Active Directory, Window Domain Naming System (DNS) Administration, email account access, etc. Monitor network and system resources to ensure availability and optimal performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting Backups Monitor and assist in managing Virtual Server Environment Nutanix/Hyper-V Support and maintain Active Directory (On-prem and Azure), DHCP, DNS infrastructure Support collaboration services on Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) Perform and verify backups - Datto Conduct routine patching of servers Server Upgrades and New Server installations Automate IT processes using PowerShell and other scripting languages Monitor and Maintain BitDefender Antivirus/CrowdStrike/Cyber security systems Support Remote users and their technical needs using TeamViewer/AnyDesk software Configure and maintain Company phone systems and mobile phone support Asset management and the purchase of software, hardware and IT systems A strong desire to learn and grow Escalate problems as required to IT management Training Create and Conduct Individual and Group End User Training including support for our internal Learning Management System Create Documentation on Korg USA Systems IT Asset Inventory Maintain inventory and configuration documentation on personal computers Maintain software inventory and licensing records for personal computers General Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential Practices and promotes ethical computing Provide secondary support and assistance to other IT staff members May participate in rotation of 24/7 support for critical IT issues REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in technical related discipline or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 3 years in an information technology service role, with direct experience supporting end-user computer hardware and software in a networked corporate environment Windows Server Experience required Active Directory Administration/Troubleshooting Experience Required 3 years' experience with all Office/Office 365 Desktop Applications Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 OS and Mac OS experience preferred Networking skills Experience with cloud services is a plus (Azure, O365,Teams etc) Familiarity with MS SQL server or other database systems is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to write IT documentation and user manuals Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail DNS Administration preferred. Training experience preferred PowerShell scripting experience preferred Availability to work nights and/or weekends if required Must be able to occasionally travel to multiple sites (NY, CA) Must be a self-starter and willing to work through complex issues to a successful conclusion Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
