Job Description:

Professional Physical Therapy is a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services in the Northeast and a certified Great Place to Work . We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist. The Customer Service Specialist serves as Professional Physical Therapy's primary contact for all patient billing inquiries. The Customer Service Specialist functions as a liaison between PPT and patients, providers and payers for all billing matters related to account resolution.$2500 sign on bonus!Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Accepts inbound calls are responded to from all parties (patients, clinics, insurance carriers) within a specific response-to-call timeframe and with the intent to resolve the callers concern. Assists patients in understanding billing statements to ensure swift resolution of outstanding balances. Makes outbound calls to patients to arrange for payments on accounts with open patient balances. Collects patient payments and follows process to post payments. Makes necessary charge corrections to accounts to ensure patient ledger is an accurate reflection of the services provided. Follows scripts that are developed by the RCO management team to facilitate consistent and expedient account resolution. Monday - Thursday will be 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm. This is a on-site position.Qualifications: At least 1 year of Customer Service experience required; health care customer service experience preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communications skills are required.
