Digital Web designer - (on-site) - Melville, NY - Large food and beverage company - Consumer Products - Social Media - Ecommerce experience needed

• Take ownership of design projects.
• - Design page layouts and templates.
• - Produce design assets for use in social media and marketing channels.
• - Maintain consistent branding.
• - Collaborate with UX, marketing, engineering, and other teams.
• - Create and maintain a database of design assets.
• - Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
• - Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
• - Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography
• - Excellent time-management skills
• - Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
• - Awareness of UI/UX principles
• No coding involved in this position.
• - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• - Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
• - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• - Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Associates Degree
• - 3-4 years of professional web design experience (Consumer Products a must!)
• - Portfolio of creative work ( web, links, etc.)
• - Professional use for Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• - Social media and email marketing experience a MUST!
• - Design web pages, microsites, web banners, and graphics for social media / paid media ads
• - Take existing brand guidelines, and execute designs across various mediums
• - Handle resizing / reformatting
• - 3 years of experience in digital design, and experience designing for Consumer goods.
• - fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and ideally Sketch, digitally savvy.
• - Experience working on Ecommerce Websites,
• - Consumer goods B2B and B2C environment for the web.
