Location: Newark, NJ
Coverage Dates: March 2026 November 1, 2026
Privileges: Full, temporary, or emergency privileges available

Schedule & Setting

40 hours per week
Alternating weekly schedule:
- 1 week inpatient service with call
- 1 week outpatient transplant clinic
Inpatient: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM + call
Outpatient: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Patient Volume

Inpatient: Average 8 patients
Clinic: Average 15 patients

Clinical Responsibilities

Management of lung transplant patients
Bronchoscopy
Thoracentesis
Chest tube placement

Practice Model

Work directly with the Medical Director of the transplant program
Multidisciplinary lung transplant team environment
Pulmonary/Critical Care fellows rotate through transplant service

Advanced Practice Support

APP support available
Collaborative/shared responsibility model

EMR

EPIC (clinic and hospital utilize the same system)

Requirements

Completed lung transplant fellowship or transplant training
