Speech Language Pathologist Location: Dix Hills, NY Agency: Health Advocates Network Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work at a facility in Dix Hills, NY. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $84 / hour Shift details: Sunday-Saturday 20hrs/week Job Duties: Evaluate patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans Provide speech and language therapy sessions Help improve communication, pronunciation, and comprehension Treat swallowing and feeding difficulties Teach alternative communication methods (e.g., devices, gestures) Educate patients and families Document patient progress and update records Collaborate with healthcare or school teams Adjust therapy plans based on patient needs Minimum Qualifications: At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist A valid and current RN license issued by the state of NY A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
