Our practice values a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and patients. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in East Hartford, CT. As an Optometrist, you will provide thorough eye examinations, diagnose and treat visual issues, prescribe corrective lenses, and identify eye health conditions. You will also counsel patients on eye care best practices, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and ensure a high standard of patient care. Qualifications Strong proficiency in performing comprehensive eye examinations and visual testing Expertise in diagnosing and managing common and complex eye conditions Experience with prescribing corrective lenses and providing contact lens fittings Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide patient education and support Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a clinical setting Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program Valid state-issued optometry license to practice in Connecticut Familiarity with the use of advanced diagnostic equipment
