Experience: Minimum 2 years License: New York State Registered
Professional License and current registration or valid permit to
practice in New York State Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC)
required Must-Have: B.S. degree preferred, C.N.O.R. Certification
preferred, Membership in A.O.R.N. highly desirable, Flu Vaccine
required - no exceptions or exemptions Description: The Registered
Nurse - Operating Room maintains standards of nursing practice as

Statement. The Registered Nurse actualizes the vision, mission, and

core competencies based on the patient population served. The
Registered Nurse contributes to the philosophy and objectives of
the Surgical Care Center. The Registered Nurse is committed to
maintaining the standards of nursing practice. The Registered Nurse
is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and delivery
of care to patients of various ages including neonates, pediatrics,
adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The Registered Nurse
participates in performance improvement and research activities.
