Job Description /n /n /n Summary: /n/n The Radiation Oncology PA
team is expanding at WMCHealth! /n/n /n/n WMCHealth Network is
seeking a Physician Assistant, in an inaugural role, to provide
coverage on our Radiation Oncology Advanced Practice team at our
flagship hospital and ambulatory practices in Valhalla.We are
recruiting an experienced Oncology PA who will support our
inpatient consultative services for our radiation oncology service
line, as well as partner with attending physicians in the
longitudinal care of our radiation oncologic patient population.
/n/n /n/n Responsibilities: /n/n /n/t - Performing HPs and
providing both autonomous and team-based patient care for the
medical management of oncological inpatients and outpatients /n/t -
Perform comprehensive physical and neurological exams on both acute
and chronically ill patients /n/t - Diagnosing, treating, ordering
and interpreting laboratory/radiologic tests /n/t - Works well
within a multidisciplinary team of attending physicians, residents,
APPs, nursing staff to ensure optimal quality of patient care /n/t
- Will function as a clinical liaison between Oncologists,
patients/families and consulting departments /n/t - Assists with
discharge planning and follow up care plans /n /n/n /n/n
Qualifications: /n/n /n/t - Candidates must be board certified as a
Physician Assistant. /n/t - Current and active NYS PA License,
ACLS, and DEA required. /n/t - Ideal candidates will have a minimum
of 2 years experience as a practicing clinical PA with a focus in
radiation oncology or oncologic hospitalist management or within a
given specialty of oncology and/or complexity of medical care.
Highly motivated new graduates with oncology interest are

skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a
