Job Description:
Join Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center, a leader in
tailored rehabilitation and wellness services, as a Physical
Therapy Aide/Assistant. This role supports our mission to improve
patient mobility and independence through direct care and
innovative rehabilitation techniques. You will work alongside
experienced therapists to implement patient care plans, assisting
with therapeutic exercises and ensuring a comfortable, responsive
environment that upholds our standards of care and dedication to
recovery and long-term wellness. Assist physical therapists in the
administration of interventions and treatment plans Prepare and
maintain equipment and treatment areas Monitor and document patient
progress under the supervision of a physical therapist Provide
support and encouragement to patients during therapy sessions
Ensure compliance with facility policies and health and safety
regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability
to handle physical demands, such as moving or lifting patients
Attention to detail and ability to follow clinical instructions
Capability to maintain patient confidentiality and sensitivity to
patient needs Basic understanding of therapy principles and
practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance CPR
and First Aid certification preferred Completion of a
state-approved education program for Physical Therapy Aides (if
required by state law)
