Job Description:
Albany Medical Center seeks a dedicated and skilled Clinical
Nurse III to join our Labor and Delivery team. As an esteemed
institution known for outstanding patient care and pioneering

professional to support our mission. This position involves
comprehensive nursing responsibilities in a dynamic and supportive
environment, ensuring the highest level of care for patients during
one of the most critical times in their lives. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate
patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation
systems. Instruct and educate patients and families in proper
treatment, helping to alleviate fears. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by health care providers. Coordinate care
planning with other disciplines and team members. Respond to
emergency situations based upon nursing standards and protocol.
Participate in the development and modification of care plans in
conjunction with other health professionals. Strong clinical skills
with a focus on labor and delivery care. Ability to multitask in a
fast-paced environment. Proficient in both written and verbal
communication. High level of professionalism and teamwork.
Knowledge of healthcare software and systems. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS/CPR
certified. ACLS certification preferred.
