Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months. • 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months. • Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted. • 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale. Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, TR Band, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Craniotomy, Intracranial bleeds, Seizure disorders, Substance Withdrawal, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Traction, Skin grafts, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: $125/month Shift & Scheduling: Weekend REQ: Every other Floating Requirements: Float like units, including ED for ED boarders Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position.
