Job Opportunity – Pediatric Registered Nurse – Massachusetts Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Western Massachusetts Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend, holiday rotation as needed Highlights: Small, intimate 3-bed pediatric unit in a community hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:3, family-centered care with rooming-in options Meditech Expanse EMR system (strongly preferred experience) 8-hour non-billable orientation provided Supportive backup from Family Birthplace staff, respiratory therapists, and IV therapists Collaborative environment focused on the unique needs of pediatric patients and their families Requirements: Active Massachusetts RN License Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required for submission Minimum 3 years current pediatric experience required Adult Medical-Surgical experience preferred for float coverage Current Pediatric Skills Checklist (within 1 year) Current Medical-Surgical Skills Checklist (within 1 year) Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications BSN preferred Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location Reliable personal vehicle required Exceptional attendance and dependability required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit pediatric unit where you'll provide compassionate, family-centered care to children and adolescents.
