Job Description Mitchell Martin Healthcare is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Yonkers, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging centers, with more than 300 locations throughout nation, has an immediate need for an experienced Mammography Technologist. This company has a tremendous reputation for innovation and state of the art equipment in a modern and patient friendly setting. Type: Contract minimum 13 week with potential of extension or direct hire. Schedule: 5x8 or 4x10 Location: Responsibilities: Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed. Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate. Explains procedures to patients. Prints film or burns CDs if warranted. Matches with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.Performs other related duties incidental to the work therein. Produces high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care. Treats patients and customers, including family members or care providers that may accompany the patient, with courtesy, professionalism and respect. Monitors patients' well-being during exam; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action. Requirements: NYS Licensed Mammography Tech ARRT (M) Certification & Card Minimum 2 years of experienceTuesday – Friday 11:00am – 7:00pm Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri 8:30am – 5:00pm Mitchell Martin Healthcare Job ID 25-64138.
