Details Location: New Haven, Connecticut 06510 Assignment Length:
13 weeks (Start: 12/5/2025 – End: 3/6/2026) Healthcare Setting:
Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center Shift: Night shifts,
3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30); option for 4x12s Hours per Week: 36
Guaranteed Hours: Yes Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
(block scheduling available) On-Call: 2 four-hour blocks per 6-week
schedule Patient Ratios: 1-2 patients per nurse Charting System:
Epic Scrubs: Provided Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in Connecticut or compact state (pending license accepted
if active by start date) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery
RN experience (1.5 years accepted with Level I Trauma or travel
nurse experience) BLS and NRP certifications required ACLS and
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring preferred Experience with Epic charting
preferred Ability to provide at least 1 professional reference Flu
vaccine required (no exemptions) Not accepting local candidates
(must live more than 75 miles from facility) Labor & Delivery Nurse
Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring
mothers and newborns in a high-volume unit (400-500
deliveries/month) Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and
multiple births Administer medications, monitor fetal heart rates,
and perform newborn assessments Support patients and families
throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians,
respiratory therapists, and social services Maintain accurate
clinical documentation using Epic Participate in on-call shifts and
