Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN, NRP, BLS, and Epic experience. Responsibilities - Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a short-term acute care Level I Trauma Center - High-risk obstetric patient population - Night shifts: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour schedules available starting at 19:00 - Weekend work required every other weekend - On-call requirement: 16 hours per 6-week schedule block - May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs - Epic charting experience required - Perform comprehensive care for high-risk Labor & Delivery patients - Participation in disaster and emergency response activities may be required - Scrubs are provided - Paid parking available at $125 per month - RTO greater than 7 days requires approval; up to 7 days can be auto-approved - 75-mile radius rule: no local candidates considered unless stated otherwise - Returning permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered - Teamwork in a large academic medical center environment Requirements - Active CT or compact RN license required prior to start date - AWHONN, NRP, and BLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience in a large trauma center required - Epic EMR experience required - First-time travelers accepted - Pending license accepted if active prior to start - No previous permanent employees within the last 2 years accepted as a traveler - Flu vaccine required, no declinations accepted - COVID vaccination and booster required unless religious or medical exemption is granted Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619438.
