Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position at a Level I Trauma Center with a CT or compact license and trauma experience required. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital - Level I Trauma Center with over 1000 beds - Day shifts are 3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00 - Average patient ratios are 1:4 days and 1:5 nights - Floating within scope is required to meet facility needs - Epic charting system is used and experience is preferred - No on-call required - Provide telemetry nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity, academic medical center environment - Royal blue scrubs are required - Modules must be completed pre-start and annually - Limited parking available for a monthly fee - Time off greater than 7 days requires approval - Holiday coverage may be expected /n /n Requirements/n - Active CT or compact RN license required (can be pending but must be active prior to start) - Minimum 2 years of telemetry RN experience required - Trauma Center experience at a large facility required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted - COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless religious or medical exemption applies - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility - Returning staff must be gone for 2 years to be considered - One reference required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-628442.
