families we serve. Position Overview: The Physician for our Genesis
Program will provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the
Inwood area of the Bronx. This is a full-time position where you
will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional
healthcare services to a diverse patient population. You will focus
on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education in a
collaborative and patient-centered environment. Key
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care,
including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. Perform
physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
as needed. Develop and implement individualized care plans in
collaboration with the care team. Document patient care activities
in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and in a timely
manner. Advise and educate patients on health maintenance,
wellness, and preventive care. Collaborate with medical, nursing,
and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient
care and safety. Attend departmental meetings, training, and
professional development activities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge
of medical practices, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the
highest level of care. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or
Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a
related specialty. Active, unrestricted medical license in New York
State. A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience
(preferred, but new graduates with strong academic backgrounds are
encouraged to apply). Strong commitment to serving diverse
populations and improving healthcare access. Excellent
communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative
environment. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR). What
