Northwell Health's Division of Geriatrics and Palliative
Medicine is seeking Palliative Medicine Physicians for Peconic Bay
Medical Center in Riverhead, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to
join a nationally recognized division. The ideal candidate should
be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine, or both
Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Medicine and have an interest in
delivering hospital-based patient care. Our interdisciplinary team
of physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers provide high
quality clinical care to older adults and those with serious and
advanced illness. Highlights include academic and research
opportunities, exposure to a variety of patient demographics, and
professional growth opportunities. Founded in 1951 as Central
Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest
hospital in Eastern Suffolk County, and the Eastern Hub of
Northwell Health, the largest healthcare organization in New York
State. As a non-for-profit 200-bed community hospital, we serve as
the primary resource for advanced healthcare services for the
250,000+ residents of the Riverhead area, Eastern Central Suffolk

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges
from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors,
including but not limited to physician specialty, level of
experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient
experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is
a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the
time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the
future
