We currently have a client in Stony Brook, NY looking for a Travel PICU RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse!Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Pediatric ICU RN (PICU) to provide intensive care for children and adolescents, with life threatening or high acuity conditions that require constant monitoring.Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary)Shift: 3x12 RotatingRewards: (Pediatric ICU RN Benefits)

    • Implement and monitor patient care plans and conditions
    • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
    • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs
    • Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
    • Monitor patient vital signs, and take corrective action if there are adverse symptoms
    • Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs and administer infusion therapy
    • Prepare and administer prescribed medications
    • Provide education, information, and support to the patient, family, and caregivers
    • All other responsibilities as needed
