Overview:The Clinical Recruitment and Marketing Specialist will drive the day-to-day patient recruitment activity at Invicro's New Haven clinic. This position will manage patient recruitment strategy utilizing various methods of outreach for patient identification. The Specialist will partner with the Clinical and Marketing teams to identify need, target population and outreach strategy. This role will report to the Clinic Director.Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Clinic leadership to create strategy for recruiting and retaining clinical trial participants to conduct clinical trials
  • Utilize communication tools and techniques to facilitate enrollment in studies
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to implement recruitment campaigns, including design, drafting & publication of advertisements in various media
  • Serve as initial reach out/point of contact for potential participants.
  • Communicate study design and protocol requirements to potential participants.
  • Assists with management of participant phone calls and visits on site
  • Develop appropriate and timely methods for communication and hand-off of potential study participants once identified to study leads
  • Plan and implement recruitment campaigns according to clinical trial protocol requirements and inclusion criteria
  • Ensure use of Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Maintains accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality of participant records
  • Creates participant communications including emails, text messages, and mailings
  • Responsible for the collection and documentation of electronic and written data
  • Demonstrates positive attitude to the participant population to build trust in clinical research
  • Plans and attends community outreach events, including evaluating appropriate venues for potential target populations
  • Assists in development and maintenance of social media presence including website updatesExperience and Qualifications:
    • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
    • 1-3 years previous experience in clinical research and/or patient-facing healthcare environment
    • At least 1-2 years previous experience in identification and recruitment of clinical trial participants
    • Understanding of social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and other online marketing tools
    • Strong computer skills including competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams and ability to learn a variety of computer applications
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Exceptional customer service and professionalismEssential Functions:
      • Must have critical understanding of clinical study protocols; capable of assessing trial design, identifying target population, and understanding inclusion/exclusion criteria
      • Must be versed in medical terminology; able to parse medical records informationWhat We Offer:
