Job Description:

Position Summary:Reporting to the AVP Projects & Operations, the Operations Manager will lead and support division-wide initiatives to ensure high functioning, efficient processes across all sub departments. Key areas of responsibility will include supporting the design and tracking of key productivity and outcome indicators across the department, partnering with Catholic Health Physician Partners business owners to design and implement processes, policies and procedures to minimize areas of variability and risk, as well as designing and overseeing complex file management and provisioning. The successful candidate will have solid understanding of healthcare delivery systems, process workflow design, and change management. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures by partnering with senior staff in areas including: finance, administration, clinical quality, data and analytics, compliance, and provider relations, to clarify processes and minimize riskDesign and drive operational workflows to promote efficiency and high caliber work efforts and resultsWork closely with AVP of Projects & Operations and senior staff to develop and track key productivity and outcome metrics to monitor workforce needs and drive performanceDevelop and manage complex network of shared network file organization and provisioningLiaise with provider contract enrollment team to drive more efficient workflows with payersManage departmental space planning and maintenanceSupport AVP of Projects & Operations on implementing key, complex initiatives, systems and workflowsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years of Operations experience, including operating experience in a healthcare setting, particularly a value based environment, or progressive responsibility in Hospital, Public or Practice Administration or an equivalent field or,An equivalent combination of training, education and experience in related fields and educational disciplines; and thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of the healthcare delivery system, value based payment, healthcare operations and population health. Knowledge of business and human resources administration principles, management functions, management processes.Bachelor's DegreeAbility to design and document operational workflows (in Visio)Ability to analyze operational and performance data (Excel/Access/Word/PowerPoint)Ability to synthesize complex set of information and clearly communicate key messages to relevant stakeholder groups, both in verbal and written formatsExperience leading and managing diverse stakeholdersExperience in managing timelines & deliverables across multiple work streamsExperience in launching transformation efforts from design to implementationAbility to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and react quickly to shifting priorities
