Join us where every moment matters. Hartford HealthCare Independence at Home has a number of Nursing Assistant positions available. We are seeking Nursing Assistants dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes. Nursing Assistants provide a variety of healthcare and general wellness duties to client's who rely on our care. These duties may include personal hygiene and grooming care; Assistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.; Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs; Reporting changes in clients' condition to supervisor, or client care coordinator; Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties; Recording each client's care on care plan and submitting care plan in a timely manner; Assisting with providing emotional support for the clients and their families; Assisting with routine therapy exercises; Participating in case conferences as requested; Attends all required in-service education sessions. We also have each caregiver complete a daily online health screening, including temperature checks, prior to entering a home for work shift. We also complete health screenings with potential clients during the intake call and again prior into going to the home for a case opening.Qualifications:Minimum of one year work experience as a PCA preferably in home care, or in a hospital or facility; Good housekeeping and home management skills; Good communication skills and a helpful attitude. New CNA graduates welcome. Candidates must have CURRENT and VALID Driver's License in good standing along with reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. Computer skills required
