• Paid time offJob DetailsJob Details:We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Food Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our food products, from raw materials through to the finished product. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate individual to make a significant impact within a leading food production company, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are met.Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain our company's quality management systems, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular food safety and SQF audits, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are understood and met at all stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Investigate and resolve any customer complaints related to food quality or safety, implementing corrective actions to prevent similar issues in the future.
  • Oversee the training of staff in quality control activities, ensuring a high level of competency across all teams.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on the performance of the quality management system.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to food safety regulations and industry best practices, making recommendations for changes to our own processes as necessary.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food quality management role within a food production environment.
    • Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
    • Proven experience conducting SQF audits in a food manufacturing setting.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and quality management software.
