Experience in Design and Construction in the following fields is preferable, K-12, Higher Ed, Healthcare and Manufacturing. Capitalizing on our long history of providing exceptional service, we are seeking a Senior Project Planner to help expand this ever-growing market for our Hartford office The role of the Senior Project Manager is to provide advanced team leadership and communication focusing on large scale complex Construction, Staff Augmentation, Relocation and FF&E assignments on - projects of all sizes. The individual will manage the budgeting, scheduling, design, vendor selection, construction, selection of furnishings, fixtures and equipment and relocation requirements for new construction, renovation or complex relocation projects. RESPONSIBLTIES:

• Manage competing demands of (2-5) projects of various sizes and complexities.
• Manage FF&E or relocation projects while maintaining a professional approach.
• Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
• Develop an effective command of project processes and procedures
• Identify the project critical path and effectively prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
• Direct and coordinate activities of the project team to ensure project progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Implement and manage project communication, budgets and schedules. Develop RFP's and review all subcontractor/move proposals.
• Prepare project reports for management, client, or others (including timelines, budgets, or any other reports requested).
• Serve as a resource to the project team, providing technical advice and problem solving advice on site
• Actively develop and maintain business relationships with potential and existing clients and industry service providers for the purpose of positioning STV to develop new opportunities.
• Maintain client satisfaction and promote additional services within the clients' organizations. SUPERVISION: The Senior Project Manager reports directly to the Project Executive on each project. EXPERIENCE: A four-year degree in building construction, engineering, architecture or a related field is preferred. More than ten years of Construction and/or complex relocation projects and related experience. CAD ability is preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with Procore, Ebuilder, and/or Primavera is also beneficial. Candidates must display an aptitude for client interfacing, business development, and project team coordination. Certifications from AIA, a PE license, NCIDQ, CCM, CMIT, PMP, and CHC are helpful.
