POSITION SUMMARY: Clinique is searching for a strong candidate to add to the growing global social media team, itself a part of a dynamic global consumer engagement team. This role will work closely with social strategy and reporting leads, as well as creative & creative ops, in addition to all regions in assisting in content planning and strategy for all global social media platforms. The individual in this role is incredibly organized, thriving on social media and thinking through a strategy-focused lens that leverages current trends and content best practices, while assisting in diving deep into channel insights and data to inform leadership on performance. In this role, the individual will work very closely on content planning, and assisting with diverse aspects of consumer engagement from paid, owned, earned and innovation. The Assistant Manager will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, assisting in leveraging creative partners to push performance and trend-driven content, while assisting in taking strategic risks. They contribute to defining strategic creative approaches, and to providing ongoing channel-specific insights, while planning and managing multiple end-to end creative workflows. PRIMARY ROLE: The role is critical to social media for Clinique. The ideal candidate demonstrates a growing expertise in social media marketing and planning, being fueled by an underlying passion for bringing brands to life via all facets of social media. The candidate understands social media's role in 360-degree marketing initiatives and is exceptionally organized and collaborative by nature, proactively offering social-first thinking to execute innovation, all while elevating the brand and disrupting our competitors. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, understanding and managing potential obstacles to assist in achieving goals. They manage and execute the creative development process across strategic and tactical planning and assist in creative concept development/execution and KPI measurement phases. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Work with creative dept. to ensure comprehensive planning of assets (organized, approved, tested and posted) Manage monthly Always On content briefs (trend research, asset management, product/format recommendations) Contribute to reporting process, KPI measurement frameworks and reporting for social media growth, engagement, and performance Assist in monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of initiatives; make recommendations to optimize performance; communicate wins across the organization Assist in Content Reviews to ensure feedback is shared and incorporated Partner closely with publishing agency to ensure correct cadence and version of uploads, troubleshooting issues in real time Keep a pulse on new and emerging trends and platforms Assist in driving social buzz around new product launches, tentpoles and cultural moments Contribute to cross-functional work with paid and earned media teams to ensure earned and owned activities are optimized across the marketing funnel Assist in testing innovative social content approaches to advance channel-specific KPIs and explore emerging platforms Maintain deep understanding of beauty and fashion trends, collaborations and initiatives, as well as relevant talent, social media metrics, and data analysis Manage community management issues and partner closely with teams (Socialites) on comments, dm's, crisis management and escalation workflows Post social media to brand accounts on ad-hoc basis QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required 3 years of relevant experience in social media & content planning Collaborative and communicative with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment Fashion, Beauty, Agency background a plus Strong operational knowledge of social channel management including but not limited to: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter Strong creative thinker who can ideate around exist and new concepts to plan and assist in developing stories relevant to our audience Strong knowledge of current social media trends Experience with social listening tools (eg; Dash Hudson, Olapic, Sprinklr) including sentiment tracking, trend spotting for activation opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer.
