Job Description:
**Director, Advanced Robotics & Automation****Brand:** Este
Lauder Companies**Description****_Responsible for_** Lead the
development and implementation of the global advanced robotics,
controls and automation strategy across manufacturing and
distribution operations. Engage stakeholders across the network (R,
Pkg, Finance, GSR IP, E2EE Pillars, Plants and DCs) to design,
develop and implement world class automated solutions for current
and future state automation requirements. Conduct, develop and
maintain a global robotics and automation gap assessment and
develop and deploy a capability realization roadmap which delivers
EHS, sustainability, quality, cost, speed, and utilization benefits
for the organization.+ Responsible for automation transformation of
the ELC supply chain by of identification, development and
deployment of robotic & automation technologies. The key areas of
ownership are automation of equipment in manufacturing areas and
core competency in mechanical, vision, machine controls, device and
robotic solutions for Filling, Assembly, Logistics and
Compounding.+ Experience with machine control, process equipment,
and HMI/SCADA+ Experience partnering connectivity to IOT & MES
solutions+ Lead strategic automation innovation portfolio including
business case, organization, and technical execution to deliver
capacity and > $50M savings.+ This will include direct ownership
of innovation projects and teams to deliver the design,
development, installation of a new robotic & automation lead line
and executional strategies for global deployment of ASRS,
palletizers, and mobile robotics+ Identify and manage partnership
with vendors (e.g. equipment manufacturers, software developers),
and negotiate contracts in conjunction with other internal
stakeholders.+ Partner with Manufacturing Platform owners and
digital Lead team to define, design and execute robotic &
automation requirements and solutions for new and existing
processes & products, collaborate with functions across the
organization to identify potential for automation+ Define the
optimum automation design, creation and portfolio implementation
plan.+ Establish the automation equipment standards for use in
design and sourcing.+ Ensure supplier / automation technology
complies with the digital transformation requirements / guideline+
Execute automation innovation portfolio+ Automation subject matter
expert for all engineering pillars and participate in Community of
Practice ensure knowledge sharing across the organization.+ Lead
and support capability development for robotics and automation
across the organization.+ Lead and support implementation of new
systems (e.g. supervise technicians & engineers, refine
requirements based on local circumstances in the plant)+ Monitor &
consider technological trends by collaborating with external
research institutes & third parties **Qualifications**Specs & Exp
