Job Description:
This position is responsible for commercial support and business
partnership to the Corporate Commercial Development Group (CDG)
regarding all financial matters of the businesses. CDG is comprised
of Schein's private label products, practice services businesses,
medical solutions and key One Schein initiatives, and other key
strategic initiatives. - Manages financial matters for direct
businesses including directing, and coordinating activities
relating to accounting, financial reporting, financial closing,
financial analysis, risk management, compliance, budgeting,
forecasting, KPI management & analysis, and mergers and acquisition
related finance and integration activities. Manages financial and
management analysis to support decision-making on all the
businesses within CDG. Interfaces with various finance, functional
and business departments within the group to ensure all public
company requirements are met in a timely, analytical and accurate
manner. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop, track and manage KPIs and
associated forecasts as well as tactical plans to achieve KPIs for
all key pillars of the Commercial Development Group (CDG)Establish
and run process to track and quantify benefit of One Schein
initiatives, ensuring that we are focusing on initiatives that will
add material value for the company as a whole and are holding teams
accountable to establishing - and executing on - success
criteriaEvaluate, manage process, model, diligence and ultimately
integrate business development opportunitiesPartner with business
unit finance teams to assess financial performance of those
business units with shared commercial responsibilityPartner closely
with other areas of the business to define, size and prioritize by
most attractive segments to enter within new and existing
marketsPlans, directs, and manages the Commercial Development Group
finance function in order to ensure the identification,
development, and implementation of cost-effective systems and
efficient financial operations. -Oversees the budgeting and
forecast preparation and drives for continuous improvement through
coordination with department managers on financial issues impacting
their budgets. - Reviews and reports projections of sales and
profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final
totals and suggests methods of improving the financial performance
of the business and help to implement changes.Provides timely and
accurate analyses of budgets, financial reports, and trends in
order to assist the President, Commercial Development Group -
Dental in decision-making. -Develops strong financial forecasting
strategies and analyses and works with the management teams to help
address any forecast shortfalls.Serves as an effective business
partner to the President, Commercial Development Group - Dental and
the senior management team. - Is the "go-to" person on financial
matters by all CDG's leadership teamDirects the preparation of all
financial reports and financials closes including income
statements, balance sheets, reports to stakeholders, KPIs, Regional
analyses and statistical reporting to drive appropriate business
decisions. - Ensures all financial reporting is consistent with
proper accounting and regulatory requirements. -Oversees the
accurate reporting of both financial and management reporting
across business units.Provide oversight to financial modelling, due
diligence and integration planning of business acquisitions.

DEMANDS:Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No
