The main responsibilities of the Life Insurance Account Manager will be to work directly with clients to complete underwriting of cases in the most succinct and timely manner. The role also requires the right person to the have extensive product knowledge, while working directly with clients to process issues, claims and other day to day needs.On a day to day basis, this role requires you to work closely with the sales team to support them in their need for proposals, educational webinars and client and prospect correspondence.The right candidate is extremely organized, with a high thirst for knowledge and an independent thinker and doer. Headquartered on the in the Town of Southampton, this is a hybrid position requiring part-time in the office and part-time work from home.Qualifications: --- - - - - - - -NYS Life & Health Insurance License --- - - - - - - -Experience working with high-net-worth clients --- - - - - - - -Minimum 2- 5 years of life insurance underwriting experience with deep product knowledge --- - - -Bachelor Degree --- - - - - - - -Career driven: looking for long term employee to grow with company --- - - - - - - -Team Player: friendly, patient, customer service experience --- - - - - - - -Technologically savvy: familiar with CRM's, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe. MS365 etc.Responsibilities: --- - - - - - - -Life insurance underwriting, processing and tracking --- - - - - - - -Run quotes and create proposals --- - - - - - - -Proofreading of applications and contracts, heavy paperwork load --- - - - - - - -Analyze the customer business performance to identify growth, up-sell or cross-sell and new business opportunities (no cold calling) --- - - - - - - -Licensing applications and renewals --- - - - - - - -Remain calm in stressful situations and handle deadline pressures well --- - - - - - - -Build and maintain good/trusting relationships with clients --- - - - - - - -Track and follow up with sales prospects --- - - - - - - -General office duties include, but not limited to, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, ordering office supplies, client correspondence, assist with events/webinars, troubleshooting office equipment, etc. The ability to wear multiple hats is imperative for your success.Employee Benefits: Medical Insurance, Dental and Vision Insurance and a Company Sponsored Retirement.
