Associate Director, Supply Planning & Analytics

The AD, Supply Chain Planning & Analytics is a member of the Supply Chain Operations team and will be responsible for E2E supply network planning, capacity assessment, modeling, and analytics. This role will be a key member of the S&OP.
The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Drug Substance and Drug Product planning (various dosage forms), working with internal and external manufacturing organizations. The role works in a dynamic and fast pace-high performing organization and will have significant interactions with Finance, External Manufacturing, Suppliers, Commercial, Quality and members of the leadership team.

The position is fully remote and with occasional visits to the New Haven, CT or Yardley, PA sites.

The candidate will:
Develop and maintain E2E product supply strategies (including procurement, inventory management & safety stock)
Manage cash flow planning and budgeting process with Supply Chain Finance
Have a clear understanding of contractual obligations with suppliers
Develop strategic supply network planning strategies to satisfy the business plan and ensure supply continuity
Align planning strategies with Global regulatory submissions and product launch activities
Lead the planning function in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process through reporting and analysis
Collect and understand demand-planning assumptions by working closely with the Commercial team
Maintain a holistic understanding of the demand, risks, cycle times and global supply challenges and dynamics
Develop and maintain supply chain KPIs and metrics (dashboard)
Represent the Supply planning function and present KPI's/metrics at the Quarterly Business Reviews
Ability to process information, identify problematic areas and propose solutions in conjunction with cross-functional teams
Propose and/or manage special supply chain projects to continue expanding the controls

Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant supply chain experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred
Proven experience managing/planning Drug Substance, Drug Product, and Packaging supplies
Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
Strong and effective analysis/problem solving/decision-making skills
Proficient with MRP solutions, Excel, and Analytical tools
Able to travel domestically and/or internationally, as required
