Manager and Data Architect Facility:CHS Services Location:Melville, NY Department:Enterprise Reporting Category:IT Schedule:Full Time Shift:Day shift Hours:8a-4p ReqNum:6037149 Under the direction of the Director of Enterprise Analytics, the Manager of Enterprise Analytics manages the Enterprise Reporting, Business Intelligence and Data Governance IT application teams to provide data and analytics for the organization. This includes Epic Clarity and Caboodle based reporting, Tableau data visualization, value based care claims analytics in addition to third party data extracts. As the Manager of Enterprise Analytics, you will work closely with your teams, stakeholders and third party vendors to determine the data requirements and delivery method. You will also be serve as a technical resource for issue escalation as well as serving as a role model to create a positive team culture. 85% Remote (Must reside in New York State), 15% Melville, NY Position Requirements and Qualifications:+ Must reside within New York State or be willing to relocate to New York State.+ Must have a Bachelors in computer science or equivalent with and at least 5 years' experience in a progressive role demonstrating the ability to lead and develop teams+ Previous experience managing analytics or reporting services functions and teams in a healthcare or equivalent environment+ Extensive knowledge of reporting and data visualization best practices+ Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures and reporting required+ Strong understanding of SQL as well as relational and multidimensional designs+ Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or equivalent (Preferred).+ Strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects architecture, functions, features, and capabilities+ Certification in Epic Clarity or Caboodle Data Model (preferred). Must attend and complete Epic certification if not certified requires week long out of state travel for each course required for certification. (Travel policy subject to change based on local, state and federal Covid guidelines)+ Ability to serve as a role model to foster a collaborative and safe culture for the rest of the team+ Strong verbal and written communication skills+ Experience in Multi-tasking and prioritizing deliverables with competing priorities.+ Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports and data visualizations+ Serve as a technical resource for rest of team for issue escalation 15. Demonstrated ability to manage to deadlines, changing priorities+ Demonstrated management skills as identified by the ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, and manage staff 17. Detail oriented and aptitude for asking probing questions to fully understand the underlying needs that drive how the system should be built. 18. Strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Independent and self-motivated, energetic with strong desire to learn.Duties/Responsibilities+ Assists the Director of Enterprise Analytics in all aspects of data visualization, extracts and reporting. implementation + Serves a resource to assist the team to solve complex data requests and develop other team members' technical proficiencies and skills + Oversee claims load processing within the Epic data warehouse + Responsible for architecture and design of custom datamarts, ETLs and data lineage. + Become knowledgeable in the organizational processes, policies, procedures and business operations as they relate to the project.+ Responsible for overseeing team deliverables and accountable for quality and integrity of data produced.+ Assess staff workload and resource capacity and adjust accordingly based on high priority strategic initiatives + Must be available for on-call support as needed. Due to project requirements, overtime will be required as needed. + Contributes to and consistently applies CHS Services' policies, procedures and benefits to all customers and/or employees by effectively working with all customers and CHS personnel without discrimination. + Conducts himself/herself in conformity with the Corporate Compliance Assurance Program and is committed to the mission and goals of Catholic Health Services of Long Island.+ Plays an active role in the CHS information security awareness program by following and supporting all CHS information security policies and procedures to the best of their ability.
