Job Description:

The RN who is VP of Clinical Services & Quality is a NYS licensed Registered Professional Nurse whose job is to provide supervision and coordination of the overall home health activities and to provide corporate oversight of the division's Director of Clinical Services, for both the field and skilled professional and paraprofessional staff. This position will also have oversight of the activities of Agency personnel as they apply to client services.Responsibilities

  • Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers. This is conducted by designing and maintaining high standards, and, through partnerships, education on staff on internal guidelines and those communicated by boards and surveying bodies.
  • This position will lead teams to design, develop, and oversee the implementation of organizational strategic initiatives for organizational experience, satisfaction and alignment of all service data to review
  • Provide regular updates with reports to leadership.
  • Provides oversight and timely guidance of compliance activities throughout the organization. Manages day-to-day operation of the compliance program (including internal and external audits, monitoring and training functions.
  • Assesses and prioritizes key compliance risk areas for the organization.
  • Develops and maintains scorecards and dashboards to track and display necessary measures to align with an effective compliance program.
  • Assists divisional leaders with the development of performance improvement initiatives related to compliance in their respective areas.
  • Oversees the management and coordination of response to third party audits and external inquiries related to regulatory compliance.
  • Analyzes audit findings and external reports and assessments, and provides recommendations for corrective action plans.
  • Acts as an independent review resource to ensure that compliance concerns and investigations are being appropriately evaluated, addressed and resolved.Qualifications:
    • Must possess outstanding interpersonal relationship skills
    • 2+ years Home Care Agency experience
    • Must be an RN,
    • BS degree
    • Must be able to travel locally
    • At least 7 years of current, directly related experience and minimum of five (5) years of leadership or supervisory experience in management in a healthcare / health system setting.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of initiating, driving and sustaining improved patient/customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to organize, motivate, and effectively coordinate activities through influence in operating areas not under direct supervision.Able to demonstrate a proven track record as an organizational change agent, good rapport with stakeholders, and excellent customer service orientations skills to deal effectively with internal and external customers.
