Job Description:

currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals
for Field Service Engineer positions with a global company that
produces the most efficient boiler system solutions in the
world.
Position Details
Location: Remote in Central Connecticut (New Haven, New London,
Hartford, etc.). Assigned to office in New Jersey
Pay: $33/hr + OT. Increase to $35/hr after probationary period.
Schedule: Typically, M-F days with occasional off hours and weekend
work as needed.
Travel: Daily travel within region with minimal overnight travel.
Expect 2-5 hours of drive time each day

Position Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will act as a customer service
technician for company representatives (70%) and customers (30%)
for the Maintenance Department. You will service, inspect, and
repair all boilers. You will also schedule all boiler start-ups and
inspections. You will be required to maintain and manage parts
inventory in the stock room or service vans and must provide
excellent customer service and build customer trust.
Responsibilities will include:
--- Perform regular maintenance on boiler room equipment.
--- Perform and report the results of water analysis at the
customer's site.
--- Troubleshoot and repair boiler room equipment.
--- Utilize water management, maintenance, and inspection
reports
--- Create proposals for customer site improvements.
--- Manage installation projects of boiler and water treatment
equipment.
--- Adhere to and support all of the company's Safety Health and
Environmental program.
--- Maintain parts and tool inventory on the service vehicle.
--- Recognize and act on opportunities to upsell additional
products and services to customers
--- Perform other tasks as required.
Position Requirements
--- This position is ideally suited for a transitioning or former
military technician with solid understanding of fluid theory,
pumps, and valves along with a good general electrical
knowledge.
--- This is a "road warrior" position, so you should be very
comfortable spending up to several hours of windshield time
daily.
--- Proficiency at creating reports using Microsoft Office and
possess strong communication skills; able to lead presentations and
meetings by explaining key concepts concisely.
--- To be successful, you will need to build and maintain customer
trust while keeping a business-oriented mindset and professional
attitude.
--- While you will generally work M-F day shift, you must be
available in flexible hours as needed for customer support or
emergency situations.
--- As you will be issued a company vehicle, you must possess a
current valid driver's license with no restrictions.
