Virginia Lead Platform Engineer (Varicent) We are seeking a highly
creative and intellectually curious Platform Engineer to be
instrumental in contributing to Capital One---s Human Resources
tools and infrastructure. In this role, you will work independently
and collaborate across multiple teams to accomplish organizational
goals. You will be part of a team that specializes in building and
maintaining systems that enable Capital One---s internal associates
to become more productive and achieve their personal and
professional goals. As part of an HR Tech team that---s leading the
next wave of technology modernization, you will play an integral
part in advancing Capital One---s engineering and operational
excellence. What you---ll do in the role: Create solutions on the
Incentive Compensation platform via configuration Serve as a
trusted advisor to our product and business stakeholders and work
closely with them to architect, define, and execute technology
solutions on the Incentive Compensation platform to solve business
requirements and problems Leverage deep incentive compensation
Modeling expertise to lead Line of Business incentives automation
into production environments and manage ongoing on-call production
support after go-live Architect Incentive solutions, as well as
lead the implementation of designed solutions on Incentive
Compensation platform in accordance with industry best practices
Intake and decipher complex business requirements and translate
them into technical terms and specs for the development team
Perform business analysis and problem solving and thinks through
problems creatively Understand Incentive Compensation platform
limitations and creatively design workaround solutions to overcome
limitations Take end to end ownership and oversight of solution
development: from requirements gathering and architectural design,
to development and implementation of proposed solutions on Varicent
Integrate disparate systems with Varicent Ensures Varicent best
practices are followed during development of Incentive Compensation
solutions Lead and mentor other technical resources on the team
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
certification At least 6 years of experience in Incentive
Compensation Modeling using Varicent At least 6 years of experience
with Sales Performance Management Platform services using Varicent
At least 6 years of experience working with SQL Preferred
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 7 years of experience in
Incentive Compensation Modeling using Varicent 7 years of
experience with Sales Performance Management Platform services
using Varicent 7 years of experience working with SQL 1 years of
experience in Varicent ICM v10 2 years of experience working in
