Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a high
school located in Danbury, CT, serving approximately 60 students
with support from a partnering SLP. This contract role runs from
the start of the school year (ASAP) through the end of the school
year (EOSY), with part-time and hybrid schedules also considered.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide speech-language therapy services to
high school students, addressing a variety of communication
disorders. - Collaborate with educational staff and the partnering
SLP to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. -
Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to
support students communication needs. - Maintain accurate records
and documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory
guidelines. - Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress
with students, families, and educational personnel. Qualifications
and Experience: - Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology preferred. - Experience working in a high
school setting with adolescent students. - Familiarity with AAC
devices to enhance therapy outcomes. - Strong interpersonal and
communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and
staff. - Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work
independently or as part of a team. Location: - Danbury,
