to growth and expansion of services the Department of
Anesthesiology at the Yale University School of Medicine we are
-seeking positions in the Pain Medicine Division of
Anesthesiology.The Center for the Assessment and Management of Pain
was instituted in May of 2013 with currently two locations, one at
the YNHH Spine Center and the recent addition of Cancer Pain at the
Smilow Cancer Hospital. Our recent successful pilot of
Perioperative pain consults for Spine patients with high opioid use
has officially been adopted by the hospital with plans to expand
this project to other specialties. Plans are currently in the works
for a Pediatric Pain and Comprehensive pain center. Call
responsibilities will be in Pain Medicine and responsibilities
would include outpatient pain and inpatient pain, which include
Pediatric Pain.The Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine
Division of the Yale School of Medicine Department of
Anesthesiology has experienced tremendous growth in recent years
both in direct patient care, clinical education, and academic
scholarly activities. We are seeking a motivated full time regional
and acute pain medicine-trained anesthesiologist to work in the OR
and perioperative block service at Yale University New Haven
Medical Center. There are also opportunities at the associated
sites within the Health System. The division's goal is to promote a
balanced interplay between scholarly educational activities,
research, and clinical practice, with the aim to optimize patient
care, improve perioperative outcomes and educate the next
generation of regional anesthesiologists and acute pain medicine
physicians clinically and scholarly.New Haven is conveniently
located between Boston and New York. It is a great place to live,

live within 20 minutes on the coast or in surrounding villages with
small town charm. The greater New Haven area offers some of the top
public and private schools in the country.QualificationsCandidates
must be Board eligible and Board Certified. In addition, candidates
should have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and the
commitment to make important contributions to the filed of
