Commercial is hiring a detail-driven Administrator Construction
Manager to support critical telecom infrastructure projects in New
Haven, CT this high-impact role, you’ll oversee fiber and broadband
network construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and
efficiency in expanding digital connectivity across communities.
About the Role As an Administrator Construction Manager, you’ll
lead contractor oversight and manage field-based outside plant
(OSP) construction operations. With approximately 80% of your time
spent in the field, your leadership will directly shape project
outcomes and network expansion. This is a 6 -month, full-time
consultant role offering steady, hands-on work in a growing
industry. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day OSP construction
activities and contractor performance Conduct pre- and
post-construction inspections to verify quality and compliance
Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, and internal teams to
ensure project success Monitor budgets and project expenditures for
accuracy and efficiency Handle material management, accurate
project reporting, invoicing, and documentation Investigate and
report plant damage incidents Ensure compliance with safety
regulations, permitting, Work Zone Protection (WZP), and Traffic
Control Plans (TCP) Attend pre-construction meetings and manage
project scheduling Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering,
logistics, project management, and other departments What You Bring
5 years of experience in OSP construction and splicing In-depth
knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, unit
descriptions, and SSP contracts Strong understanding of state,
local, and company safety requirements Effective verbal and written
communication skills Ability to work outdoors in various
conditions, perform physical site work, and conduct field
inspections Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional
overnight travel Valid driver’s license Preferred Experience with
