Job Description:

Qualifications: High school or equivalency diploma and three to five years of office experience. Associate's degree preferred. Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically in Word, Excel and Outlook and knowledge of using computer software and entering data into a computer. Ability to learn and use other software programs effectively. Experience with development software including Raiser's Edge and Import-o-matic preferred. Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical office setting but may be exposed to extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending, listening, talking and/or visual concentration, writing and/or computer use. This position would normally have routine opportunities for the employee to be able to alter their physical position or change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 30 pounds. Position Summary: Responsible for providing administrative support in an organized, accurate and professional manner to the Development department. Uses and maintains the Development database as a central tool, provides events assistance and overall donor relations support. Duties and Responsibilities: Enters a large volume of donor intonation into the donor database in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains updated donor files, records gifts, and is responsible for the committal of various donation types. Enters and imports data for constituents, events, gifts, actions, etc. through individual record processing and system batching. Creates reports and provides information about donors, as requested in support of the fundraising team. Generates thank you letters to donors in a timely Answers telephone calls, manages calendars and schedules and maintains Participates in meetings, training, and Attends and participates in company fundraising, public relations events, and other activities in support of the Food Bank. Maintains a clean and safe Follows all safety standards and Works independently, and collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of the mission of the Food Bank.
